What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a holistic healthcare approach that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural healing methods. It focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of illness rather than just managing symptoms. By addressing the body, mind, and spirit, naturopathic medicine promotes overall wellness, disease prevention, and long-term health.
Naturopathic doctors (NDs) use evidence-based, natural therapies to support the body's innate ability to heal. Treatments may include clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle counseling, iv therapy and physical medicine. NDs emphasize patient-centered care, tailoring treatment plans to each individual's unique needs and medical history.
We welcome individuals of all ages and stages of life. Whether you’re managing stress, dealing with chronic illness, or simply looking for a more natural approach to care, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Individual blood tests ordered by naturopathic doctors provide targeted insights into specific aspects of your health. Unlike general panels, these tests are chosen based on your unique symptoms, health concerns, and goals.
Food Sensitivity Testing
The RMA FST™ by LifeLabs is a blood test that helps identify food sensitivities by measuring IgG antibodies to up to 211 common foods. It supports personalized dietary changes to reduce inflammation and improve overall wellness.

Botanical Medicine
TVHC’s on-site Apothecary allows our naturopathic doctors to create personalized herbal remedies using high-quality plant-based ingredients. These customized formulations are designed to support healing, restore balance, and address a variety of health concerns—naturally and effectively.
What is Botanical medicine
Botanical Medicine is the use of plants and plant extracts to support health and treat disease. It is one of the oldest forms of medicine, practiced in cultures around the world for centuries. These plant-based treatments contain natural compounds that can help.
Herbal Teas
Infusions, often referred to as herbal teas, are made by steeping dried herbs such as leaves, roots, bark, or seeds in hot water. These custom blends can be used to address a range of symptoms.
Tinctures
Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking parts of a plant (like roots or flowers) in alcohol over several weeks. The alcohol acts as a solvent, drawing out the active medicinal compounds. Tinctures are taken in small doses and can be combined to address multiple concerns
Hormone Replacement Therapy
At TVHC, we offer individualized Hormone Replacement Therapy to help restore balance. Using bio-identical hormones derived from natural sources, HRT is designed to symptoms related to imbalances.
What is BHRT?
Bioidentical hormones mimic the body’s own hormones in both structure and function. These customized treatments can help alleviate symptoms related to hormone deficiencies or imbalances. BHRT is available in various forms including creams, capsules, and sublingual drops, all tailored to your unique needs.
Your Initial Appointment
During your first visit, our naturopathic doctor will conduct a comprehensive health assessment and may recommend lab testing to evaluate your hormone levels.
